City to Discuss Park Smoking Ban

August 20th is the date the city council is expected to set during it's meeting today to talk about a proposed smoking ban in public parks near playgrounds and also for special events.

The city is simply looking for your ideas and your thoughts on the subject.

It'll then use that information to possibly form a future ordinance.

Because of National Night Out the council meeting is set for 2:00 p.m. today at city hall.
