City Council to Discuss Plaza Advisory Vote

The Yakima City Council will talk about and take a vote on whether to rescind the city council's plan to place an advisory vote on the ballot in 2015 asking voters if they support the proposed downtown plaza.

Council members have talked about the proposal and the advisory vote for months. Some council members support the idea while others say they want to go forward with the plaza without a public vote.

The council meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
