City Agrees To Pay Half Of Airport Legal Bill

Yakima City officials have agreed to cover half of a bill for legal fees from the Yakima Air Terminal. The Yakima City Council voted last night to pay 40 of the 80 thousand dollar bill. The legal fees are the result of the airport board using an attorney to evict two businesses from the terminal because they didn't pay rent. The county however has refused to cover the bill...saying the airport should cover the bill itself.
