Needed, a Christmas tree. But not just any tree. This one should stand about

30 – 50 feet tall.

The tree is needed for Yakima’s Annual Christmas parade, which takes place on December 4th this year.

“Usually we get one from someone who has a huge tree in their yard that they want gone” said Joe Mann, the director of the parade. “Through mutual cooperation several parties are able to go and cut down and transport the tree to the spot where it stands, he said, adding “but this year we haven’t been able to obtain a tree and downtown won’t seem like it’s in full Christmas display without it.” The deadline is closing in. This year’s tree needs to be in place Thanksgiving weekend. If a tree is donated, it will be placed in its traditional spot in Millennium Plaza.
