Charges Updated to First Degree Murder in Holbrook Case

All four suspects being held in the murder of Yakima real estate broker Vern Holbrook appeared in Yakima County Superior Court Thursday where they were charged with first degree murder.

The charges were upgraded this week from attempted murder after an autopsy showed Holbrook died this past Sunday as a result of injuries he received in the assault at a home in Cowiche in May 2013.
