Central Prof Teaching Geology Online

A Central Washington University Professor is hoping to teach people the geological history of our area through the creation of short videos available online.

Geology Professor Nick Zentner has been teaching for more than two decades but he says the videos reach a larger audience and showcase the unique geology of Eastern and Central Washington.

“Eastern Washington is like Disneyland to geologists.”

In the videos Zentner talks about things like the Ellensburg Blue Agate and what makes it unique to Central Washington.
