Yakima Police are searching for suspect in a shooting at a North Fifth Avenue convenience store in which a cashier suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. Police say a woman and the male shooter arrived at the A&A Mini Mart on North Fifth Avenue at about 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Police say the cashier was outside but was forced back inside at gunpoint. They then demanded money but the cashier struggled with the suspects and was shot. The suspects then grabbed money and ran from the store. Police are searching for them Today. The cashier is recovering at a Yakima hospital today. Police say the wound is not life threatening.
