Today is the 6th annual "100 Jobs for 100 Kids" youth job fair.  This event, held at the Southeast Yakima Community Center, is a chance for youth in Yakima County to learn job readiness skills, practice writing resumes, and participate in mock interviews.

Approximately 400 youth will attend the "100 Jobs for 100 Kids" job fair, and 100 youth will be placed into part-time summer jobs.

Think back to your first job; the first one is often the hardest to obtain.  This program directly impacts youth in our community by teaching valuable job skills to our future employees.  The “mock interview” is one event that gives practice for the real world and offers constructive feedback on their interview skills. Kids need not sign up in advance, just show up at the SE Community center between 1 and 5.
