Two people are expected to survive life threatening slash wounds after an argument at a Union Gap home Sunday morning. Police say a woman was cut by her boyfriend's brother when the two got into an argument. During the argument the suspect's brother was cut as he apparently tried to intervene. Police were called when the victims showed up at a Yakima hospital with serious knife wounds to the throat. The 35-year-old suspect is being held in the Yakima County Jail facing assault charges. He was arrested near the Valley Mall after calling police and threatening suicide.
