Alaska Comes Through With Another Seattle Flight to Yakima

It just got a little easier to get there from here – as long as there is Seattle.  Yakima’s efforts to fill current Alaska Airlines flights have paid off with the announcement of an additional afternoon flight to and from Seattle to start August 23^rd.

The new flight will leave Sea-Tac at 3:00 pm and arrive in Yakima at 3:38.  Passengers on board  for the return trip will go wheels up at 4:10 and will touchdown in Seattle 30 minutes later.

The feds have provided more than a quarter million dollars in promotions money which the city will match to help make the new run a success—which could eventually lead to a much needed mid evening flight.
