Improv comedy is alive and well here in Yakima, with the Manic Thunder troupe holding court weekly at Glenwood Square's Mediaworks Theatre. The group has been entertaining audiences for nearly four years at that venue, doing the type of comedy made famous by groups like Second City, The Groundlings, and the TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"

Manic Thunder members  Aaron Bennett and Matt Trickey were recent guests on Newstalk KIT. They talked about the group's origins, how they came to use the Glenwood Square facility, the excitement of doing a live show, and how they've added shows for kids and an 18 and over only show.

Aaron and Matt also did some live improv for us.
