Yakima police are investigating 3 separate shootings reported over the last two days. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says the first shooting was reported at 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of East Walnut when 20-year-old Mario Santana was sitting in his car in front of his home. "He said there was a vehicle that drove by. Shots were fired from that vehicle then is sped off." Santana suffered a gunshot wound to the side of his body and is listed in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The next shooting was reported at about 1:00 p.m. Monday in the area of South 11th Avenue and Nob Hill. One man in his 30's was shot by another man who ran away. The man was taken to a Yakima hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No arrests in those shootings. Then at about 4:00 p.m. Monday another shooting was reported in the area of Nob Hill and South 18th Street. 3 men in a vehicle fired shots at another man. Those three, ages 15,17 and 21 were arrested at a Yakima home a short time later. Police continue to investigate Today.
