BELLEVUE (AP) — Two people injured when a fire tore through condo building in Bellevue have died.

A spokeswoman for Harborview Medical Center tells KOMO-TV that three people were brought to the Seattle hospital following Monday night's fire at a 20-unit building near Bellevue Square shopping center. Two died. A third is in serious condition.

A fourth person was taken to another hospital and that person's condition isn't immediately known.

Bellevue Fire Department Lt. Doug Halbert says the two who died were in cardiac arrest when they found.

Firefighters rushed into the building despite the intense flames and brought out the four victims. About 50 people made it out of the building safely.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
