Yakima prosecutors say they plan to charge a 16-year-old boy with reckless burning in connection with Monday's fire in Selah that damaged two homes. The boy was on the hillside on Monday above Wixson Park lighting some brush when the fire took off and threatened homes, damaging two in the process. No injuries were reported. Officials say as soon as the fire started to spread the teen tried to warn residents. He was arrested on Monday, but has since been released. He's expected to face charges within the next two weeks in county juvenile court.
