YVCC to Offer Free Tech Training Opportunities

Yakima Valley Community College is offering technology workshops in March. The classes will be student led and are free and open to the public.

The first offering will be training in Microsoft Publisher. By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Learn how to manipulate pre-made templates
• Insert photos/clip art into a publication
• Develop a business card
• Prepare a letterhead
• Make a flyer

The Microsoft Publisher workshop will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013, 1:00pm- 3:00pm in the Technology Complex, Room T212,  on the Yakima Campus.

Other training opportunities include Google Docs, Advance Excell 2010 Features, Adobe Photoshop, and Windows 8.
