The Holidays ahead are a happy time with many great memories relived and new memories made, but for some it can also be a time of sadness as some also experience an absence or sense of loss of loved ones who have passed.

Virginia Mason Memorial invites community members who have lost loved ones to attend a gathering with others for a candlelight memorial ceremony with music and food as a way to remember loved ones who have died in the past year.

The event will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, at The Harman Center, 101 N. 65th Ave., Yakima. It is provided, at no charge, by The Memorial Foundation and The Harman Center.
