Yakima's Harman Center is ground zero for a summer-long school supply drive that begins Monday, July 1st at 101 N. 65th Avenue.

A City press release says the supplies will go to a variety of schools in the district pointing out that lat years donations were able provide supplies to five different schools in the city.

If you would like to help you're invited to drop off items at the Harman Center from July 1st through the end of September. The shopping list includes erasers, pencils, rulers, color pencils, crayons, markers, paper, scissors, binders, glue, notebooks, pencil sharpeners, backpacks and folders.
