Yakima Police Investigate Gang Shooting

Yakima Police detectives were busy during the holidays with a number of shootings reported and the latest happened Monday night. Authorities say the gang related shooting resulted in a 16-year-old boy being shot in the leg.
The shooting was reported at about 9:30 p.m in the 700 block of Queen Avenue.
A news release from the department says the boy was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. He was treated and released.
No suspects were arrested as the investigation continues Today.
