Comprehensive Healthcare is providing area moms and dads some extra parent power come the end of this month.

The "Strong Families" program is free to parents Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30-8:30pm from April 29-June 5 at Roosevelt Elementary School, 120 N. 16th Ave.

The Yakima class is open to all parents, grandparents, foster parents with children of any age and encourages positive self-esteem, celebrates culture, strengthens community bonds and emphasizes communication.

The classes are free, there is a free parents manual but there isn't childcare available during the series.

If you're interested check out www.comphc.org Questions, or call Patty, 509-576-4319.
