According to a news release the initiative kicks off with the Yakima Manufacturing Roundtable scheduled for June 30, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Perry Technical Institute. His talk will include real-world examples like food processing, packaging, and production operations.

TOURS ARE PLANNED
If you attend you'll have the chance to tour CubCrafters, one of Central Washington’s leading advanced manufacturing companies, providing firsthand insight into innovative manufacturing practices. “Local manufacturing businesses have expressed a need for opportunities to collaborate and share best practices,” says Jonathan Smith, Executive Director of YCDA. “This partnership with CAMPS addresses that need and offers additional benefits to our regional industry.”

The Yakima Manufacturing Initiative aims to be more than a one-time event. Future programming plans include CEO forums, manufacturing mixers, plant tours, educational roundtables, and leadership development opportunities, all designed to meet the evolving needs of Central Washington’s manufacturing sector.
