Yakima Enjoying Historical Aircraft at Yakima Airport

The big World War II birds have landed at the Yakima Airport.
The Collings Foundation "Wings of Freedom" tour is now offering tours and rides of its historic aircraft at McCormick Air Center at 3210 West Washington Avenue. You'll have a chance to see a B-17 Flying Fortress, B-25 Mitchell bomber, B-24 Liberator, P-51 Mustang and a P-40 Warhawk.
Ground tours and half-hour flights are available.
Ground tour times are 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
On Thursday the ground tour time is 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
