Money is waiting for those who get the vaccine

Yakima Health District Officials say "the free COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held at the Festival in Sunnyside on Friday, May 6th. The COVID-19 vaccine will be available to anyone 5 years and older and the booster dose available to anyone 12 years and older. Additionally, a second booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be available for eligible groups. Health officials say while supplies last, those who get vaccinated will receive a $50 gift card.

Yakima County was hit hard by the pandemic

During the pandemic Yakima County saw 73, 699 cases with 16 new cases reported over the last week. No hospitalizations and no new deaths have been reported in the county. All total 715 people have died of COVID-19 in Yakima County.
