Yakima Now Has a New City Manager

His name is Cliff Moore and he's Yakima's new City Manager. Moore was sworn into to office Tuesday by Yakima City Council members. In May the City Council approved an employment contract with Moore. He'll $170,000 plus benefits. He officially starts his job today at Yakima City Hall. Moore comes from Thurston County where he was the manager since 2013. His executive experience also includes serving as director of Thurston County’s Department of Resource Stewardship (2009-2013) and director of Thurston County’s WSU Cooperative Extension office (2004-2009).
