The Yakima City Council Tuesday is expected to approve a resolution to make up to $200,000 in flood damage repairs to N. 66th Avenue. The road has been closed since February 22 between Scenic Drive and Englewood Avenue because of flood damage. Now the city council is expected to give approval to make the repairs asap without going through the formal bid process that city officials say could slow down the work. The city council meeting Tuesday starts at 6:00 p.m. at Yakima City Hall.
