Yakima City Council Decides To Vote On Tax Increases

Next Tuesday the Yakima City Council is expected to vote on two tax increases to help fill a more than 1 million dollar budget gap. The council held a public hearing in the 2012 budget last night where council members voted in favor of moving ahead on a 20 dollar increase in the cost of car tabs and a utility tax hike. The council is expected vote on the increases at next Tuesday's Yakima City Council meeting.
