Yakima City Council Candidate Forum Set for October 3

The Director of Yakima's Dispute Resolution Center will host a candidate forum for Yakima City Council candidates on October 3 at Yakima City Hall. The forum is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
The forum is sponsored by League of Women Voters of Yakima County, NAACP Yakima Branch 1140 and the Asian Pacific Islander Coalition in Yakima. Before that forum is held however there's another planned and it's set for Thursday.

The Yakima County Republican Women's Club is hosting the forum for Yakima City Council candidates at the Howard Johnson Hotel. All the candidates will be asked the same questions during the forum from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Lunch will be served. The hotel is located at 9 North Ninth Street.
