Yakima-Area Coronavirus Cancellations and Postponements

Here are some of the local events and organizations that have announced scheduling changes because of coronavirus concerns:

• Washington CampgroundsParks and Rec announced all camping spots including RVs, Cabins and more are closed. Hiking trails and day visiting still allowed.
• State Fair Park, Yakima -- All events canceled through April 30.
  Junior League's Young Women's Leadership Summit, March 28, Yakima Valley College -- Postponed
  Legends Casino Hotel -- Closed through March 31.
• A Spring Awakening -- Postponed until June
• The Seasons Performance Hall -- All performances canceled through April 11 by state mandate.
• Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, Downtown Yakima -- Canceled 
• Yakima Valley Library System -- All library programs and activities are canceled through March 28, including the annual Preschool Storytime Tour scheduled for March 21-27.
• White Pass Ski Area -- Closed, with the exception of uphill snowshoeing and skiing, until further notice.
• Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital -- Suspending valet parking, the gift shop, community education classes (including Diabetes Prevention, Diabetes Wellness, Kohl’s Cares Exercise Classes, ACT! and all bereavement classes and support groups.
• Memorial Foundation’s YouthWorks pageants at Highland High School, Sunnyside High School and Mr. Capitol -- Canceled.
• Seattle Rock Orchestra, the Seasons Performance Hall -- Canceled.
• Pegasus Project -- All lessons canceled until April 6.
•  3/19 - Zillah Chamber Awards -- Canceled.
•  3/21 - "Weight of Water" fundraiser, Pacific Northwest University -- Canceled.
•  3/21-22 - Spilyay-Mi Native American Art Show, Legends Casino -- Canceled.
• AWFC/Yakima Canines Football Season, Yakima Valley SunDome - Postponed TFN
• Central Washington Home and Garden Show, Yakima Valley SunDome -- Canceled.
• WIAA State Dance/Drill Championships, Yakima Valley SunDome -- Postponed TFN
• WIAA & WMEA, State Solo and Ensemble Contests, Ellensburg -- Postponed TFN
• Jordan World Circus, Yakima Valley SunDome -- Postponed indefinitely.
• Nickelodeon's JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour, Yakima Valley SunDome -- Rescheduled for 7 p.m. June 19 at the SunDome.
• St. Patrick’s Day Iron Chef and Dance, Harman Center -- Canceled.
• NW Junior Jamboree volleyball tournament, Yakima -- Canceled.
• WE Day 2020, Yakima Valley SunDome -- Rescheduled for June.
• Celebrate Our Youth Luncheon, Henry Beauchamp Center -- Rescheduled for May 20.
• Run For Your Life 5K, Yakima -- Canceled.
• Yakima Little League Tryouts -- Postponed to April 2020.
• Fire and the Shrub Steppe Workshop, Yakima -- Postponed indefinitely.
• LaSalle High School - Saint Patrick's Day Fun Run & Gala Fundraiser -- Postponed indefinitely.
• Let's Connect: Women's Networking, YWCA Yakima -- Canceled.
• Yakima Celebrate Recovery, Yakima Foursquare Church -- Canceled.
