Finally some good news about the current COVID-19 lock down in the Valley.
Yakima Health District officials say Yakima County is now in phase 1.5 of the state phased re-opening plan.
Under phase 1.5
Restaurants can offer outdoor seating with social distancing and only with individuals from your household.
Personal services, like hair salons and barbers can open indoors at 25% indoor capacity.
Retail stores can open at 15% indoor capacity, with indoor activities limited to 30 minutes.
Religious and faith based organizations can open at 25% capacity, or up to 200 people, whichever is less, with physical distancing between households.

A news release from the district says the area has reached a 'momentous milestone' but that the situation could quickly change if people don't continue to wear masks and social distance. District officials say staff is available Friday to answer questions from business owners and community members until 4:30 p.m. More information can also be found at yakimahealthdistrict.org.
