"An apple a day keeps the doctor away"- for how many years have you accepted this as truth? I've heard it for a half century and outside of the lame 1989 Alar scare, I've read nothing to contradict that sentiment. Apples are good and good for you! The Daily Mail is reporting on some new research suggesting that an apple a day can keep the dietician and weight loss specialists way too!

Research shows that adults and children who eat apples regularly are more likely to have a lower Body Mass Index. Apples and their skin can also allegedly help with appetite control as well as gut health, heart health, and lowers your cancer risk.  If an apple a day is good, how about two! Way to go Yakima Valley apples producers! (DailyMail)
