Work On Highway 12 Starts Monday Closing Road At Tunnel For Up To Two Months

A big project on US Highway 12 West of the Rimrock tunnel starts Monday that will close the road for up to two months. However a detour will be available. Officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation say the work will remove rocks above the roadway. A detour will be available along Tieton Reservoir Road during the work that officials hope to finish before the Thanksgiving holiday.
