Students in the Wapato School District are back to remote learning. District officials say because of COVID-19 issues creating staff shortages all Wapato Public Schools have switched from hybrid, in person learning to remote distance learning. District officials say they'll continue with distance learning through Friday, December 18 which is the start of the districts winter break.

Free Meals distribution will continue for the next two weeks as scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the west side of Wapato High School. Those meals are available to all kids ages 1-18 years of age.

At this time the District plans to return to its hybrid, in-person model of teaching and learning when school resumes on January 4 after Winter Break.
