It's called "Walk Like Madd" and it's both a community reminder to "inspire change and commit to a nation with No More Victims" and a time of remembrance for the victims, survivors and supporters of people involved with drunk driver accidents.

According the M.A.D.D. organization, in 2015, 25% of all driving related fatalities in Washington State were alcohol related. Nationwide, nearly 10,000 lives were lost due to drunk driving and another 290,000 people were injured in drunk driving crashes."

The second annual event  is this Saturday, June 24th with same day registration opening at 7:15 a.m. The 5K run/walk at Sarge Hubbard Park will get underway at 8:15 a.m.
