Veterans Day 2019 Busy in The Yakima Valley

Monday is Veterans Day 2019 and events are planned throughout the Yakima Valley to honor veterans. The Annual Veterans Day parade along Yakima Avenue begins at 10:45 p.m. Another ceremony is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Vietnam Korean memorial at Sarge Hubbard Park in Yakima Monday.

The annual parade, sponsored by the Yakima VFW Post 379 features 50 vehicles and 750 participants from around the Yakima Valley.

Because Monday is a national holiday all city, county and state offices are closed including banks and the post office.
