While Yakima Police continue to hunt for two murder suspects who shot a clerk at the AM-PM on East Yakima Avenue earlier this month. Police in Union Gap are busy investigating small store robberies as well.

In Union Gap last Thursday, the Airline Market at 1002 W. Washington Ave. was robbed at about 9:30 p.m. Police say three men wearing masks entered the store with handguns. They stole the store clerk's wallet and money from the cash register.

On Friday night two people robbed the Ahtanum Food Mart at Ahtanum Road and Third Avenue. That robbery was reported at about 10 p.m. The suspects were wearing masks.

Police say there is a possibility the robberies are connected.
