Two Kids Struck By Car Taken To Yakima Hospital

A 2-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy were sent to a Yakima hospital Saturday after being struck by a car. Yakima Police say it happened at about 7:45 p.m. as the boy and girl were walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of South Third and West Viola avenues. Police say a woman driving driving a vehicle north on Third Avenue struck the kids and remained at the scene. The children were in satisfactory condition on Sunday.
