Presidential Debate Showdown: Take This Quiz and Predict the Winner
The presidential debate is in the top 5 trending news stories here in Washington State. This means thousands (if not millions) of us are talking about it, thinking about it, and looking it up on the internet.
I am willing to bet that a lot of people who normally don't watch presidential debates are going to be sitting in front of the tube or phone screen for this one! I've got my wine and popcorn ready to watch the fireworks and see what each candidate says about their policies should they win the 2024 presidential election.
Have you seen some of those debate "bingo" cards that have been floating on the internet? Those are fun to do; it keeps you from falling asleep during the debate. I don't have any bingo cards for you, but I do have a fun short quiz.
BUT FIRST: Here are the top trending FAQ's we want to know about the upcoming debate.
WHERE TO WATCH THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE?
I love to watch the debates on YouTube, either on the AP live news feed or various political pundits who like to throw in their two cents after the debate with commentary. It's also going to be aired on standard TV news network channel ABC, and also available for live streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
WHAT TIME IS THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE?
For us Pacific Standard Time folks, the debate comes on at 6 p.m. This will be a 90-minute show filmed at the Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center (no live audience). (I know it's not a "show" per se, but it might as well be since tons of ops will be checking out the ratings and comparing them to previous debates--guaranteed!)
The ABC News moderators will be David Muir and Linsey Davis.
The first and currently the only scheduled vice-presidential debate will be on Tuesday, October 1st. We can look forward to Ohio Senator J.D. Vance sparring with Wisconsin Governor Tim Walz.
