TRAFFIC ALERT. Your commute could be impacted today during traffic signal work at 16th Avenue and Fruitvale Boulevard Today. That's because the traffic signals at the intersection of 16th Avenue and Fruitvale Boulevard will be shut down temporarily for most of the day on Thursday while a signal cabinet and signal pole damaged during the winter are changed out.
City of Yakima crews will be working on installing a new signal controller and signal pole at that intersection until about 6:00 pm Thursday.
