City crews will be working at the intersection of 56th Avenue and Summitview Avenue Tuesday, December 22. As a result of the work the eastbound and northbound lanes at the intersection will be restricted to one lane during the project work hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The traffic signal will not be operating during the project and flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Because of heavy traffic volume, drivers can expect delays in the project area.
Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
City crews will install a new traffic signal shaft and arm so the signal can accommodate a bigger radius in the future.
