Time For Great Kids To Be Recognized

Maybe you know a child between the ages of 5 and 19 years old who's doing something great but they haven't been recognized for it. Here's your chance. The Yakima Youth Awards are set for March 21st. The deadline for a nomination form is March 1st. The forms can be found at Sously Sound and Communications at 10th and Tieton Drive.

Spokesperson Karen Lee says it could be the teen that shovels your driveway in the winter or mows your lawn. Maybe your child or grandchild has done something that deserves recognition. Whatever the case Lee says nominate them for a Yakima Youth Award.
