Three-Alarm Fire In Gleed Destroys Old Church Building
Fire investigators are still searching for a cause after a large blaze destroyed a home on Eschbach Road along Highway 12 in Gleed Saturday.
The home, a former church building, belonged to the Curtsinger family, who operated a ministry and MMA training center.
Fire crews were called to the blaze at 5:30 p.m. Saturday as flames engulfed and destroyed the structure. The three-alarm fire took more than an hour to douse. Investigators say the fire is believed to have started in the chimney or attic.
The investigation continues today.
