Yakima Police are investigating after a series of phone threats were made to six schools in the Yakima School District Wednesday. Police say a male threatened to shoot and or bomb the schools. Threats were made to Summitview and Apple Valley Elementary Schools. Threats were also made to Robertson, McClure, Martin Luther King Jr. and Whitney schools. As a result the schools were put on lockdown. Police investigated and found no bombs and the lockdowns were lifted by 3:00 p.m.  No arrests have been made but the investigation continues Today.

Yakima Police say threat calls were also made to other schools around the state and the country.
