Thanks to the generosity of nine area credit unions, many more Yakima School District students will be able to start the school year prepared with basic school supplies.

For twenty years, employees at these credit unions have filled nearly 5,000 peechees each year for elementary students in the Yakima Valley. The donations for Yakima School District students will be delivered to Adams Elementary School, 723 South 8th Street, Monday, August 29, at 1:30 p.m., and presented to Adams student leaders by area credit union representatives. We would love to have you join us for the delivery and celebrate the bigheartedness of folks in our community!
