Nine candidates are lined up in the Aug. 5 primary election to replace the retiring 20-year incumbent, Pasco Republican Doc Hastings, in Washington's 4th Congressional District. Who will you be voting for?

The 4th has not seen a change in congressional representation since Hastings replaced Washington's current governor, Jay Inslee, back in 1994. With Hastings' retirement, a large field of candidates has stepped up with a desire to succeed Hastings in the U.S. House.

Republicans Janéa Holmquist Newbry, Clint Didier, Dan Newhouse, Gavin Seim and George Cicotte, along with Democrats Tony Sandoval and Estakio Beltran, and Independents Richard Wright and Josh Ramierez will all appear on the primary ballot. The top two vote-getters will advance to the November general election.

We invite you to take our poll and give us an idea which candidates may emerge as the final two on Nov. 4
