At approximately 8:30 this morning, five members of the Yakima Fire Department's Technical Rescue Team assisted the Yakima County Sheriff's Department in rescuing a man trapped and clinging to a screw jack on the Wapato Irrigation/Parker diversion dam just off of Highway 97 near Lateral A in Wapato.
Man Slain After High Speed Chase on Highway 12 Wednesday Identified
The Yakima County Coroner released the man's name and results of his autopsy on Thursday.
