All total, Jim Curtice says the county saw 94 overdose deaths last year nearly tying with 2021 when a record 95 overdose deaths were reported in the valley.

Curtice says over the last two days he's seen 4 overdose deaths and he's concerned there's a large amount of fentanyl laced pills being sold on the streets of Yakima.

The number today sits at 20. Last year at this time there were 24 overdose deaths in Yakima County.
