Department officials say there's really no end to the emphasis patrols that continue into the new year.

Seely says two armed resource officers do work at both Davis and Eisenhower High Schools.

They're called Apple Airtags and while the small devices that look like a small button have helped a lot of people find lost stuff the Airtags are also causing a big concern about privacy.

Seely says now patrol officers in Yakima have been asked to "be mindful of this collision-causing behavior and either cite or educate where appropriate."
