Yakima Police have recovered a stolen pickup that was used to smash a front window of the Baskin Robbins ice cream store at 38th and Nob Hill early Thursday morning. Spokesman Mike Bastinelli says the suspects used the truck to break into the store and steal an ATM inside. Officers were called at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning after someone saw the incident and reported it to police. They found the stolen pickup nearby and also recovered the ATM that was in the back of the truck. Police are searching for suspects Today.
Police say the suspects hadn't yet had a chance to break into the ATM machine before it was recovered.
