DES MOINES, Wash. (AP) — Police say survey crews have discovered what could be human remains at a park south of Seattle in Des Moines.
KOMO-TV reports officers went to Zenith Park Tuesday morning and confirmed the finding as skeletal remains.
Des Moines Police Department Sgt. Doug Jenkins says they were found in a swampy area just north of the park.
It's unclear how long the remains were there.
