It's remote learning for the fall for students at Yakima Valley College. School officials in a news release says since Yakima County remains in a modified phase 1 of the state's reopening plan school officials decided to offer classes virtually through the end of fall quarter. School officials say campuses will continue to be closed to the public with no in-person events and all services provided virtually. YVC President Dr. Linda Kaminski says making the decision now will enable the college community to be adequately prepared for the start of the Winter Quarter. As for the spring quarter school officials say they'll make that decision later in the year.
