Lance Stafford, the man accused of scalding his girlfriend's two-year-old daughter in 2010, has been found not guilty. Stafford was acquitted of second-degree assault of a child. The trial started last Thursday. His defense team argued it was an accident and that the toddler fell into the hot bath water while Stafford was in another room. Prosecutors argued Stafford put the girl in the hot water and held her there. The toddler had serious burns was treated in Seattle.
